I doubt it.
For years we could not decipher the hieroglyphs on the pyramids. Them someone made the connection via the Rosetta Stone. This allowed for comparison with ancient script we already knew.
But in the case of the circles, where is the Rosetta stone ?
So the aliens travel across countess miles, or between some unknown dimension, and they make a few patterns in a corn field.
And does this mean they can only communicate when the crops are in season ? No patterns in, say, snow covered fields.
All rather suspicious to me.

Nazca Lines geoglyphs in Peru can not be seen from the ground.
These shapes only became known when Peruvian military pilots saw them from the air.
It is believed this art work was trying to get the friendly UFOs to come back to earth.
Also, years ago, a farm not too far from me, but really rural and off the beaten path found circles in their crops.
There was no tire tracks, no foot prints, and no disturbed plants leading up to the circles.
At the time it went no further than the small local paper.
There are some crop circles that can not be normally explained.

Crop circles are not for people on the ground, but for passing UFOs coming to visit earth. Why would they be for us on the ground? Yes...because advanced aliens capable of traveling light years through space need to communicate to each other by drawing in the dirt.  Hell how can they draw in dirt? They get close to Earth and they crash! I mean they can fly millions of miles across the vacuum space avoiding astroids and cannot land on Earth! WTH! Are their navigators drunk or what? |

Have you ever sat at a railroad crossing and watched a freight train roll past? Ever looked at the amazing graffiti and art drawn on the cars by kids with just a can of paint? They do that in just a few minutes. What could a group of kids do with several hours of darkness and a plan? And why not on a grand scale in a wheat field and not just on the rear end of a bus?
