This is the first clear crop circle posted on crop circle connector, although there were three laid in England in May, to my eye they were of less quality than I have seen in many a year. The pic above was laid in France. Notre Dame of France, Nr Moisselles, France. Reported 1st June.

In your eyes perhaps. I look at it as a new piece of intrigue/art in my life

You will have noticed that they all have a family resemblance. all formed of arcs or circles.
But they are, indeed, interesting shapes.
However, what do you think is the point of them ? What does it demonstrate ?
Surely not that these entities can make intricate patterns in someone's field.
There are so many things that a powerful engineering savvy race could do that would be much more useful.
But they don't.
SO one has to ask, 'is there any alien entity there at all ?'
Or is it all down to clever humans ?
There is a simple way for these aliens to prove it is them. Just give the exact location of their next work of art. Give the exact date and time.
Then we can have the whole area covered by cameras and radars. Infra red to ultra violet.
Plus lots of human observers. And then we can observe the whole thing unfold before our eyes.
Why not ?
One small snag. These 'beings' seem reluctant to communicate.

Crop circles are not for people on the ground, but for passing UFOs coming to visit earth.
Why would they be for us on the ground?

Crop circles are not for people on the ground, but for passing UFOs coming to visit earth. Why would they be for us on the ground? Yes...because advanced aliens capable of traveling light years through space need to communicate to each other by drawing in the dirt.

I don't believe that a single 'crop circle' has ever been made by any 'space alien' or other 'unknown being'. I do think that some of the very simple swirl circles only in the past could be meteorological effects...but even that is arguable.

And why would they need this ? As Dr wu mentioned, seems a rather primitive way to communicate. And not much use at all if there is cloud cover.
Thelmadonna,
Sorry, to me the same applies. It would be a pointless exercise.
And if you were trying to send a message to people on the planet, Maybe a string of ASCII characters would be a better idea.
I do believe that in 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the aliens sent a radio signal consisting of grid references. Makes more sense.
