...History Channel's "Ancient Aliens" beats Anderson Cooper at CNN...
How can there be a comparison ?
Cooper presents news items and chairs news related discussions. I.e AC360.
It would be interesting to see a demographic break down of the voters who were asked to choose.
How many of the people who voted for Ancient Aliens were Republican Trump supporters against the number of Democrats.
Same for the people who did/didn't support CNN.

HAL Yes HAL, I'm not sure this was a survey, I do find your post interesting,
how many do you think, who were measured,
find left right politics a illusion?

moksha,
Thanks for that link.
However, it is really just a Nielsen promo. Doesn't actually tell how they did this specific survey.
In fact I don't know if they would be able to ask the appropriate questions as it may be seen as 'profiling'. Which it is.
I've nothing against profiling myself. One can never have too much data.
My point reference the above is that it is an 'apples and oranges' comparison.
I suppose if you were to take, say, 5000 dyed in the wool Democrats, and the same number of life long Republicans, all from the same income bracket, and asked them the same question then you would end up with with a reasonable response to any situation.
Also be interesting to take another 5000 from both groups but from a lower income bracket and compare it with a high end income group.
Same applies, of course, to the UK Labour versus Conservative supporters.
HAL.
