Like , I suspect, many here, I watch 'The Curse of Skinwalker Ranch' (As it is called in the UK).
It's intriguing. But some of the things they do are a bit ' illogical'.
For instance. They moved a whole load of bushwood out of a hole that Tom showed them. Then fed 45000 Gallon of dyed water into the hole and, when it disappeared quite quickly, They went looking for the dye, They didn't find it. So reasonably enough they assumed that it had sunk to some place below; after all, it had to go somewhere.
But they then did the strangest thing.
They went and sunk boreholes. But NOT at the obvious place, i.e. the bottom of the hollow where the water was seen to 'sink away'.
Surely that would have been the first place to look. Directly below. That is where any cavern, water course, what ever, would be.
Just struck me as odd.

Cows bunching up in some corner. Dropping dead afraid of who knows what. Mutilated. Devices going haywire. Strange lights in the sky. Tons of green-dyed water doing a Houdini act. Lots of strange things going on there in that part of Utah. A dimensional portal, or wormhole used by alien space crafts. What the hell is going on there? It's crazy. Intriguing though.

Agreed. But the specific thing I was pointing out is that they did not do the obvious thing. Bore down in the place that the water disappeared from. However, I did watch it again last night, and Dr Taylor said something along the line of 'Well, the next thing to do is drill down into the pit and find out where the water went'.
But they didn't do it.

Security seems to always have a problem with drilling and digging. That's from past experiences no doubt, when bad things happened throughout the ranch's history. They keep asking the owner for permission to excavate, and the owner kind of cringes over the idea. We'll just have to wait and see what the outcome will be.
Unfortunately, I do not have a subscription, so I can't watch all the episodes. If they come up with any answers, I will probably never know.

But about six months after it is shown in the USA.
I find it particularly interesting as I am a licensed radio operator and can relate to the radio aspects.

The history channel does not provide subscriptions. I need to subscribe to some TV service provider in order to watch season 4--the only season I can't stream for free. I may have to subscribe for free trial, and then cancel in 7 days after I watched all the episodes. I'll see how it goes.

There has yet to be any sch. for new episodes, so enjoy what yall get to watch. The 1.6 radio frequency is not a secret of skinwalker ranch, how old it is might be. Radioactive and a active radio.

Agreed, It is a frequency reserved for space and science use. Also there are a number of other satellites in the frequency region.
The mystery seems to be why that particular frequency appears to be in use when it is related to other things they are doing.
They should be able to de-code the signal. At least work out what the modulation is.

I agree, Hal, I'm sure they know. I don't think they would allow that on TV. The ranch is in a interesting area , and near classified installations, Dr. Taylor has been part of classified work, and will not be able to say or do things that would violate that.
From my perspective we are being MUSHROOMED kept in the dark and fed crap. As we are entertained, kinda strange drip of, who knows what.

Re the 1.6 Gig frequency. I picked it up yesterday on my RTL.SDR. Just using a bit of wire as an antenna. I need a better antenna system.
If there is some kind of object in the mesa, and it was buried By Bigalow and the Government, then it obviously means that someone knows it's there. So why go to all this trouble to have some other team find it. ?
Unless, as you suggest, it's a slow drip of information.
Should be a good 5th season.

My 5 cents concerning that Skywalker Ranch: The reports told for many years now, surrounding that ranch, seem highly suspicious to me. I am no expert in that topic, but i have read a few details on the alleged happenings and the experiences made by "scientific" teams that were doing some kind of research and were stationed there. Even if i go totally uncritical on those various reports made by those people involved, i have to wonder why there should be a place on earth, were all imaginable paranormal kinds of events should take place, all at once, concentrated on one little point, called Skywalker Ranch. I cannot think of another place on earth, claiming similar quantities of paranormal happenings. Ghosts, Cryptids, UFOs, cattle mutilations, psychological phenomenons, unknown radiations with ununderstandable effects on people and equipment, and so on (you guys surely know more than i am). Combined with the fact, that the original owners of that Ranch, who sold it decades ago, seem to have never told of any strange events, if i understood it right. I am highly sceptic of those reports made concerning that ranch. When i look at those 10 "experts" standing there and looking in that history channel camera, on that photograph chillstar posted a few posts above, i instinctively get a gut-feeling of distrust, commercial motives may have taken over at this Ranch long time ago... A paranormal, fat cow, ready to be milked... But, as i already have mentioned, this is only my personal feeling.

Yep, i read about that ranch years ago and i found more than one source in the net, who did mention that the old owners (it was a couple who died in the early nineties i think) never reported anything unusual in the many years they lived a farmer´s life there.
They lived their life for decades there. If it was as spooky and even dangerous as it reportedly has been for the last 30 years, i do not think that couple would have stayed and lived for 50 years or so on that ranch.
I made a quick lookup in the net, to back up my claimings, but it seems much harder nowadays to comb through the the links of the net as they are almost all only talking about the recent spooky history of that ranch, but not about what was before 1994. Only wikipedia mentions a source saying that the Myers (the name of the couple i mentioned) did not report anything unusual.
Maybe i will look a bit further into it again, and as soon as i find more sources, i will post it here.

I found a source with a recent interview with the brother of Kenneth Myers (who owned the ranch since 1934), a man named Garth Myers, who is still alive i think. He was involved in working there on his brother´s ranch for many times and many years, so he seems to be a believable source in my view. He said: “I can tell you right off that my brother died in April of 1987. My sister-in-law lived alone there until about 1992. She died in March 1994. And I can tell you unequivocally that up to 1992 there had never been and there never were any signs of that [UFO and similar activity.]" Full article here: terryhooper.blogspot.com/2020/07/skinwalker-ranch-no-strange-phenomena.html?spref=pi

So, at least until 1994, that Myers Ranch seems to have been just a quiet spot in rural Utah.
