In the past quarter of a century or so, a good deal of events and activities in regard to space, have taken place. Below is a quick synapsis of such events.
In some 40 plus years after the beginning of SETI (the search for extraterrestrial intelligence) in 1959 which searches for alien techno signatures immerged, and 10 years later in 1969 when man walked on the moon, during the famous "Space Race" between the US and Russia, as well as the sendoff of Voyagers 1 and 2 in 1977, a new golden age in space contention and progress has developed.
Below is a brief account and timeline of such events:
In 2003, shortly after the 1986 MIR station was built in space, an unprecedented move to build a new space station with international collaboration was constructed. And thus, the ISS (The International Space Station) was born--so-to-speak. As well with now, China's Tiangong space station, has been orbiting the Earth, along with many other satellites (built for other reasons) ever since.
At the same time as the ISS was being assembled in space, androids were being designed, built and deployed to Mars.
Namely:
Spirit, launched on June 10, 2003, and landed on January 4, 2004.
Opportunity, launched on July 7, 2003, and landed on January 25, 2004.
Curiosity, launched on November 26, 2011, and landed on August 6, 2012.
Perseverance, launched on July 30, 2020, and landed on February 18, 2021.
Zhurong, launched on July 23, 2020, and landed on May 14, 2021.
Plus, more technologically sophisticated satellites than the voyagers were manufactured and sent out to film, and transmit back photographs, as well as data of all the planets in our solar system. Also, dispatched to various comets, were satellites designed and sent to collect and bring back to Earth soil samples for a lab analysis. Along with powerful, hi-tech telescopes such as: The European Extremely Large Telescope--launched 2010. The Hubble--launched in1990. The James Webb--launched in 2021, as well as various others that have also been deployed and are out there in space. Additionally, a good deal more has been going on during that time as well.
These are some of the tools, techniques and skills that have been implemented in an effort to obtain a more accurate account of the age and design of our solar system, and that of the universe. And also, to find out if our world, is the only planet harboring life. And there is of course, the search for exoplanets--over 5000 have been discovered so far.
Now in just the year 2023 alone, some things have been done which NASA is hailing historic milestones about (read here). And is (NASA) as well readying for 6 exiting space missions set to launch in 2024 (read here).
All these activities and events have raised excitement, interest and fervor within the scientific, as well as the UFO/UAP communities. Resulting
in the emergence of reasoning and rational professionals in science, politics, the armed forces and so on, which have been recently taking a stand. They (the pros) have become more enthusiastically involved in and have taken aggressive and authoritative postures to establish the existence and truth about exoplanetary life. Forcing governments to reveal, what may be otherwise classified information, to the general public.
After all that said, I now would like to take a brief moment to extend a welcome to those guests that may be joining the UFO Casebook in the weeks, months and years to come. Welcome all. For this is a fantastic era for man to be in. With flying cars, taxis and whatever else we can think of, just a decade or so away. With a glimpse into the very beginning of the universe closing in. A discovery of fossils not of this Earth, an indication of possible outer worldly existence. This truly is, a "New Golden Age" in space and alien exploration for man.
