The weather service says it has never happened, but there is a good chance that two hurricanes could combine in the Gulf of Mexico early next week.
The forecast along the Gulf is 10 inches of rain next week.

Wow Cliff, six spouts!
This seems most unusual.
Hey swamprat, stay safe next week
Maybe the hurricanes will drift more west?

You learn something every day.
It is called the Fujiwhara Effect, where two hurricanes combine and make one big hurricane.
There is a good chance this could happen.
