Well, great to have you back then, mrYelm! Sorry to hear you are facing new health challenges, ...respect... you will find we are on your side. To the survey, have you decided what kind of information you will be collecting and your objective in doing so? Also, many members already have entered signature threads (over time descending into archive status) dealing with ones personal experiences / encounters what have you with alien beings, phenomena or UFO's. Such essays or reports in most cases include what we have come to BELIEVE in view of what we encountered. Do you feel like 'mining', involving a fair measure of time of effort on your part  , our forum for such beliefs in old posts and threads? If you go for a survey in the present, here's a question I'm always curious about (for anyone responding to your eventual survey). "Has your alien experience/encounter changed you, and if so, how have you changed?" Looking forward to seeing your survey-thread take form... purr

I dont know much about polls... I would think there would be an objective to a poll... I would think a poll of the community would be togather statistics and well.. I dont think anyone in the community would participate to a personal poll... but.. a poll such as .. what support system do you hv? or where do u get you info. togather understanding of aliens? or... what info do you believe to be true? or what info do you believe is false? questions of the community would be helpful.. questions of a personal nature would deter participants ... but again... I dont know the purpose of a poll.....
... I myself hv been interested in the ufo community for a little over a year now and I feel the leaders of the community has failed the members of the community for many years.. mufon was the most disappointing and when the scandal was published I dont think anyone would trust a mufon member...
....trust and honesty is important to anyone trying to make scents of a ET.. did anyone do any venting of the speakers at the conferences ? is there anyone that publicly states " this tale is faulse or we support this tale'?
.....when I researched mufon, they hv a team that councils alien encounter Humans but mufon does not agree nor disagree with any narrative.. anything goes.. even hoax movies and books are making big bucks... ,
......what is the purpose of having an ufo community??? or maybe I am mistaken and there is no community
......also.. I believe there has been a great force to mislead and misdirect the public. I also believe there are many victims preyed upon from this force ..
. is there any criteria among the organizers to support or deny alien narratives or any tale and narrative will do?
as for me,,, I hv found tales on the net that can be comic book material... most of the info of where the story originated like lizard and inset aliens did come from comic books back in the generation in the fifty and sixty .. or how about, the seven types of aliens that many ppl publish.
.. there are ppl on utube that state they are aliens and make statement on the alien behave and the shocker to me is they hv a quarter million views...
I would think for knowledge, logic and reason among the community there should be someone or some trusted authority that would step up and publicly state this narrative is either supported or not supported within the community.. if a man stands for nothing he will fall for anything.. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace...
