It is very hard to completely rule out unicellular organisms existing somewhere but apart from this remote possibility we are very much alone in the universe.
UFO phenomena or UAP in modern parlance has a very prosaic explanation. The famous UFO cases have all been misconstrued or fabricated. Roswell was a mogul balloon.
There is a slim chance that a very minute percentage of UFO sightings both in the UK and US have been stealth blimps.
That's it I'm afraid.
As for alien abductions - these persons are delusional.
The extra-terrestrial hypothesis is a staple of bad science-fiction.

That's one big claim.
So why is there life on our planet, and not on any of the many billion of other ones ?
And how do you know ?

That's one big claim. So why is there life on our planet, and not on any of the many billion of other ones ? And how do you know ? I didn't say there wasn't any life, only complex intelligent life. If superintelligence existed it would have been detected long ago. Unless it's indistinguishable from science or nature.

buoyant: that is an interesting hypothetis of yours: There maybe is a remote possibility of life other than ours, but if, it is only stupid life (compared to us) That alone is a quiet pure example of "Anthropochauvinism". That is a recklkess claim without any credible basis, it has to be a contradiction in itself. So, following you, there are only maybe germs, or HUMAN Shit, or maybe (with remote possibility), superintelligences? A very enviable theory you developed (or have read about it somewhere) there, i have to admit. Respect
