While you still can...You know the drill
Dr. Andrew G. Weber, a pulmonologist and critical-care specialist affiliated with two Northwell Health facilities on Long Island, said his intensive-care patients with the coronavirus immediately receive 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C. Identical amounts of the powerful antioxidant are then readministered three or four times a day, he said. Each dose is more than 16 times the National Institutes of Health’s daily recommended dietary allowance of vitamin C, which is just 90 milligrams for adult men and 75 milligrams for adult women. The regimen is based on experimental treatments administered to people with the coronavirus in Shanghai, China, Weber said. “The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C,” he said. “It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.” (source) I imagine it would be good for everybody, especially those without a garden, with no access to sunlight.

I agree Thelma..as with anything moderation is the key..so far we know it does not like heat ultraviolet bleach alcohol potassium copper zinc..and vitamin c (intravenous) .. and now for something that runs against the convention of the times.. By Guy Birchall, British journalist covering current affairs, politics and free speech issues. Recently published in The Sun and Spiked Online. With most of Europe imposing extraordinary restrictions to slow the spread of coronavirus, Sweden has left its citizens surprisingly free. Are Swedes rolling the dice with their public health, or is everyone else overreacting? As most of Europe clamps down in a bid to slow the spread of Covid-19, one country is bucking the trend. Sweden is taking a markedly more liberal approach to combatting the virus. Despite its closest neighbours, Denmark and Norway, shutting down all but essential services, Swedes remain free to socialise as the harsh Scandinavian winter comes to an end. Although universities and high schools have shut, pre-schools, kindergartens, bars, restaurants, ski resorts, sports clubs and hairdressers have all remained open. Read more Covid-19 compensation: Busybody police waste precious resources on meaningless tasks Covid-19 compensation: Busybody police waste precious resources on meaningless tasks The streets of Stockholm and Malmo are noticeably quieter than usual, but positively bustling compared to those of Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Paris and Rome. Standing in bars is banned but as long as punters can find a seat they’re free to enjoy a night out. Other steps taken include gatherings of more than 50 people being banned and the over 70s being urged to self-isolate. With the exception of Belarus, which hasn’t even suspended its football league, Sweden’s restrictions amount to the most relaxed out there. This has prompted observers both in and outside the country to wonder if they are playing fast and loose with the nation’s health or taking the most proportionate response in the West. Prime minister Stefan Lofven has warned that times ahead would be tough but also put the onus on individual Swedes. He added: “We all, as individuals, have to take responsibility. We can’t legislate and ban everything.” This tactic is at odds with the strategy in the UK which has been to tell citizens to stay at home and limit leaving the house to once a day. Sweden’s experts have taken a very different view to the UK’s, with their state epidemiologist, Anders Tengell, saying the Imperial College London modelling, predicting 250,000 deaths and informing Boris Johnson’s strategy, is “pessimistic”. The latest numbers in Sweden show nearly 3,500 cases and 105 deaths. Tengell told The Observer: “As long as the Swedish epidemic development stays at this level, I don’t see any big reason to take measures that you can only keep up for a very limited amount of time.” Sweden’s move has allowed for businesses to stay open, reducing the impact on the country’s economy. The approach has been broadly well received by the public, who view it as a more sensible course of action than the draconian steps taken in other countries. It also places the country in a better position to ramp back up to full capacity after the pandemic subsides. Lofven’s government seems less inclined to be seen to just “do something” compared to many in the West. Swedes have not clamoured for the state to restrict their freedoms in the same way many in other countries appear to have done. Read more Mandatory self-isolation: With Moscow in partial lockdown, Russian PM urges rest of country to follow suit Mandatory self-isolation: With Moscow in partial lockdown, Russian PM urges rest of country to follow suit Only time will tell what the best response to this year’s outbreak turns out to be, but for the moment Sweden’s more laissez-faire approach should be heartening to its population. The government entrusting its citizens to observe advice and adjust their behaviours accordingly without the threat of police intervention is something that should be applauded in a free society. It also maintains a higher level of trust going in the other direction, from the public to the government. On a practical level, not employing draconian measures immediately prevents hysteria from taking hold amongst the public and allows for a slower escalation of measures should they be needed. Trust is an important factor in a democracy where a government rules by consent of the people. Public trust in Sweden is exceptionally high, with citizens having faith that their politicians are acting in the public interest. Their propensity to treat adults like adults is key to that trust remaining. Without question, sacrifices will have to be made in the fight against Covid-19, but it is vital that public trust in the government is not one of the things lost. By taking a more measured response and basing their actions of advice rather than enforcement, Sweden’s government is taking a gamble but arguably a less risky one than Britain or Germany have. Sweden is allowing its economy to function at a much more normal level than the rest of Europe, which has effectively almost shut down. If the pandemic turns out not to be as fatal as, for example, Britain’s experts initially feared, then the draconian measures enforced by other countries could result in the cure being worse than the disease. However, if it does turn out to be as deadly as predicted, but no more so in Sweden than in other countries, the government could still not be accused of having done nothing but would still be in a more economically stable condition. The only situation that would leave the Swedish government truly open to criticism would be if the mortality rate in Sweden outstrips similar countries, but thus far there seems little indication that that is likely to be the case.

Frank Plummer – Canadian Scientist Key To Coronavirus Investigation Assassinated In Africa?greatgameindia.com/frank-plummer-canadian-lab-scientist-key-to-coronavirus-investigation-assassinated/In a very strage turn of events, renowned scientist Frank Plummer who received Saudi SARS Coronavirus sample and was working on Coronavirus (HIV) vaccine in the Winnipeg based Canadian lab from where the virus was smuggled by Chinese Biowarfare agents and weaponized as revealed in GreatGameIndia investigation, has died in mysterious conditions. Frank Plummer was the key to the Chinese Biological Espionage case at Winnipeg’s National Microbiology Laboratory.
According to CBC, Plummer, 67, was in Kenya, where he was a keynote speaker at the annual meeting of the University of Nairobi’s collaborative centre for research and training in HIV/AIDS/STIs.
Dr. Larry Gelmon, who helped set up that meeting, said Plummer collapsed and was taken to hospital in Nairobi, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No confirmed cause of death has yet been released.
Plummer was born and raised in Winnipeg, where he headed up Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory for several years.
He was also involved in an innovative research partnership between the University of Manitoba and the University of Nairobi, established before the world was very aware of HIV/AIDS.
“He helped to identify a lot of the key factors that are involved in HIV transmission in the early days,” said Keith Fowke, a professor in the medical microbiology and infectious diseases department at the University of Manitoba.
“He was so hopeful that he was on the path that would end with discovery of the HIV vaccine — the road he had started down almost 30 years ago,” said Plummer’s colleague, Dr. Allan Ronald.
What is not mentioned in the CBC report however is that Plummer worked in the same National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) in Winnipeg, Canada from where Chinese Biowarfare agent Xiangguo Qiu and her colleagues smuggled SARS Coronavirus to China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology where it is believed to have been weaponized and leaked.
Infact, as GreatGameIndia reported in our exclusive report on Coronavirus Bioweapon, as Scientific Director Frank Plummer was the one who acquired the SARS Coronavirus sample of the Saudi patient at the NML Winnipeg Lab from Ron Fouchier, a leading virologist at the Erasmus Medical Center (EMC) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands who was sent the virus by Egyptian virologist Dr. Ali Mohamed Zaki who isolated and identified a previously unknown type of Coronavirus from the Saudi patient’s lungs.
Fouchier sequenced the virus from a sample sent by Zaki using a broad-spectrum “pan-coronavirus” real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method to test for distinguishing features of a number of known coronaviruses known to infect humans.
This Coronavirus sample arrived at Canada’s NML Winnipeg facility on May 4, 2013 from the Dutch lab received by Frank Plummer. The Canadian lab grew up stocks of the virus and used it to assess diagnostic tests being used in Canada. Winnipeg scientists worked to see which animal species can be infected with the new virus.
Research was done in conjunction with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s national lab, the National Centre for Foreign Animal Diseases which is housed in the same complex as the National Microbiology Laboratory.
This Winnipeg based Canadian lab was targeted by Chinese agents in what could be termed as Biological Espionage. The viruses was reportedly stolen from the Canadian lab by Chinese Biowarfare agent Xiangguo Qiu and her colleagues and smuggled to none other than the Wuhan Institute of Virology where the virus is believed to be weaponized and leaked.
Further, Frank Plummer was also working on HIV vaccine and interesting recently published study be Indian scientists found HIV-like injections in Wuhan Coronavirus – the key that made the jump to people possible. The Indian Scientists came under massive online criticism by Social Media experts and were forced to withdraw their study, in retaliation of which now the Indian authorities have opened an investigation against China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. Although it should be noted that now China has started using HIV vaccine to cure Coronavirus.
Frank Plummer was the key to the entire investigation on the origins of Coronavirus Bioweapon. But will the Canadian government open an investigation into this matter? Unlike their American counterparts who have charged the Chinese Biowarfare agents trying to smuggle deadly viruses from Harvard University, the details of the Canadian investigation on the Winnipeg Biological Espionage case is shrouded in secrecy.

Conspiracy?
The USS Theodore Roosevelt stopped in DaNang, Vietnam where intelligence reported only a few coronavirus cases in the city.
Yet on their way to the next stop in Guam, COVID-19 spread through the ship taking out so far 100 crewmen.
It was so scary that the Captain put out a message that our brave crewmen should not die like this.
Was this ship intentionally infected by dark enemies?

Anyhow, I agree about the Vitamin C, although this will be at a treating physician's discretion (and I doubt acute COVID-19 patients are of a mind to ask), so why wait. It's Common Cold and the 'normal' Flu season regardless, and in my family we encourage eating some whole citrus fruits (minus peel as appropriate) daily, preferably as a meal, not dessert/snack, to boost that hard working immune system. COVID-19 (the virulent stage) / SARS Cov-2 (strain of viral infection) is one of many Corona viruses our immunity has to defend against, be it that it is new and right now we're jabbing and dancing with it, trying out stuff, getting a feel for our opponent in the first of ten rounds of a heavyweight bout. (Mankind and SARS Cov-2 both may be deemed heavyweight because the Corona contender if allowed free rein would probably decimate seniors and elderly plus those with preexisting conditions in every population the contagion reached, equaling dreadful loss of life as well as a Culture Ending Event, while we not only have been fighting and surviving viruses for hundreds of thousands of years BUT TODAY WE SEE THEM, our scientists are figuring them out as fast as they infect us, make us ill and begin to kill members of our species.)
Antiviral meds are being tested, and I expect some to actually be (somewhat) effective and reduce the number of extremely ill and dead. 'Winning on points' in countering a viral epidemic will be: arriving at a working Serum (cure for COVID-19) and/or a Vaccine (immunizing everybody against the infection). My sense is (reading as many science editorials/reports as I can stomach) the latter will take between 1 and 2 years. Say there's a vaccine available beginning of 2021, that might count as a KO in round 5, having run, side-stepped, rope-a-doped for time, boxed, feinted and punched ourselves through Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter again until solidly connecting with our opponent's jaw, going like "..pick on someone your own size why don't'ya..!" or "..go MUTATE yourself...".
But that's relatively best case scenario. The little bug could surprise us, we are still in the getting to know phase, and one of the most important pieces of information, the Infection Fatality Rate (how many of those infected have died) is necessarily still out. Not all infected are yet counted, many will be infected in future adding to that number, testing is stlll very much underway, and we have to wait also for the total number having died from COVID-19 before determining the true probability of dying from infection.
So much uncertainty. But is it real, is it dangerous? I think hell yes. Not just because I'm watching CNN conveying projections of America taking a hit of 100.000+ deaths. Of Cris Cuomo broadcasting from his basement (great looking basement by the way!) that he has tested positive, I'm a big fan of his show and now I'm praying for him that God will keep this unstoppable journalist healthy and strong. Not what I was expecting to do and say here, this is crazy stuff.
Yesterday there were COVID-19 survivors on Dutch television reporting on the horrible experience of passing through the most severe symptoms of COVID-19. No picknick I tell'ya and here we're all going like, I don't want to get that!!
Broadly it appears that the US and the Netherlands are using the same approach in fighting the virus, I believe, criticisms and all, that Trump is doing fine, the best he can although getting the supply line and number of IC beds up to speed is a humongous challenge. Interestingly in the Netherlands we face the exact same problem to scale (smaller country, population 17 million) while underway to the (hopefully flattened) peak of number of seriously ill, with America an estimated week behind our progress. One difference, our PM Mark Rutte gets more support across all isles (we're a multi party system) and from all of the Dutch. No leader, country will perform to perfection facing a pandemic. Why can't we all stick together... (..make that: COMPLY WITH LOCAL LOCKDOWN INSTRUCTIONS ----- KEEP EVERY BODY AT 5 FEET DISTANCE!! ----- ...STAY AT HOME WHENEVER POSSIBLE...) for survival..?

In knowing what President Trump is doing to stop his nation’s banks from being able to finance any more wars, this report details, his globalist-socialist enemies in the US Congress inserted into this rescue package a provision to establish a “special inspector general” to oversee who gets the trillions-of-dollars of relief—a move designed to siphon off some of these rescue package monies to aid banks whose only option for rescue is the US Federal Reserve now totally under the control of President Trump—but when signing this rescue package into law, saw President Trump sending this provision down in flames when he exerted his Executive Branch wartime powers and wrote in open defiance of these globalist-socialist US lawmakers in his signing statement: “I do not understand, and my Administration will not treat, this provision as permitting the [inspector general] to issue reports to the Congress without the presidential supervision required by Article II of the Constitution”—a decisive move President Trump then followed by placing all of these trillions-of-dollars of rescue monies under the total control of the Pentagon he oversees as its Commander-in-Chief.

Purr..you will absolutely Meow at this This human is sooo funny! Michigan Democrat Governor Asks Feds for Hydroxychloroquine to Treat Coronavirus, Four Days After Banning Use…Posted on March 31, 2020 by sundance On Friday March 27th Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer threatened to revoke the medical licenses of doctors and pharmacists who prescribe hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus in Michigan. Four days later, March 31st, the same governor asks the federal government to send her hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus patients. Go figure. MICHIGAN – […] “We want to ensure that doctors have the ability to prescribe these medicines,” she said. “We also want to make sure that the people who have prescriptions that predated COVID-19 have access to the medication they need. And so all of the work that we’ve done is trying to strike that balance.” (Edit: surrrrrre) In its approval letter, the FDA wrote that “ ased on the totality of scientific evidence available to FDA, it is reasonable to believe that chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate may be effective in treating COVID-19.”
“When used under the conditions described in this authorization, the known and potential benefits of chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate when used to treat COVID-19 outweigh the known and potential risks of such products,” FDA Chief Scientist Denise M. Hinton wrote in the approval letter. (more)
