Since December 17th, many groups of strange lights have been flying over Northeastern Colorado and South Nebraska between 7 to 10 PM at night.
Some groups have as many as 17 or more lights.
Police assume these lights are drones.
The Denver Post claims it has contacted all agencies like the FAA, Air Force, etc. and all that have been contacted said they had no knowledge of these night lights.
Lincoln County Sheriff, Colorado says if these are not drones, then what are they?

NBC Today TV show interviews husband and wife who claimed they traveled 15 miles chasing about 30 lights at speeds up to 70 miles an hour.
The husband claims when he thought he was getting close to one of the lights, it simply went out.
Are we dealing with drone or something else here?

Thanks thelmadonna,
This could be something different.
Phillips County, Colorado Sheriff Thomas Elliott says that if these are drones, it is not a hobbyists.
People have reported to him that these lights have flown in extremely skilled grid patterns in his county.
Elliott says they do not appear malicious and stayed above the 200 foot level.
Again no one has claimed responsibility for these drones, and FAA and military claim no knowledge.
I am going on out a limb and saying UFOs showing off for the New Year.
Happy New Year!
