In the last week or so, we have had some 1,000 guests on the forum without a new member. Something is not working, and I am trying to find out why.

Maybe related to the old forum that had 19,000 members but one only ever saw a hundred at the very most.
You could ask a friend to try and register and find out if he/she hits a snag.

This morning I was unable to log in here for a while, thought it was strange, tried to do the guest thing but I couldnt count the buses right. Gave it an hour or so. Got in ok. then went to open my g.mail, said come back later try again, whats going on?
