That Columbus sighting certainly has a 'Phoenix Lights' look about it.
Pity there is no background to judge it against.
Any update on it ?

Video of yet another claimed UFO sighting over North Carolina has hit YouTube, this time in Columbus, a Polk County town 85 miles west of Charlotte.
The video, shot at night, features a hovering v-shaped object illuminated by six lights.
"Whatever it is, it seems to be dropping," says the unidentified man behind the camera. "I'd like to know what the heck those six lights are."

That v shape looks like something I saw in the early 80s. It was a lot lower. While I was watching it, it lit up the ground with a bunch of square lights in the front. They were only on for a few seconds, but I did note that they were square. |
