SHALOM...ZEDIT TO ADD:Emerging archaeology in a new study highlighted by the Old Temples Study Foundation suggests that sound and a desire to harness its effects may have been equally important as vision in the design of humankind's earliest ancient temples and monumental buildings.A consortium called The PEAR Proposition: Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research are pioneers in the field of archaeo-acoustics, merging archaeology and sound science. Directed by Physicist Dr. Robert Jahn, the PEAR group set out in 1994 to test acoustic behavior in megalithic sites such as Newgrange and Wayland's Smithy in the UK. They found that the ancient chambers all sustained a strong resonance at a sound frequency between 95 and 120 hertz: well within the range of a low male voice. www.viewzone.com/archeosound.htmlIn subsequent OTSF testing, stone rooms in ancient temples in Malta were found to match the same pattern of resonance, registering at the frequency of 110 or 111 hz. This turns out to be a significant level for the human brain. Whether it was deliberate or not, the people who spent time in such an environment were exposing themselves to vibrations that impacted their minds.
Sound scientist, Prof. Daniel Talma of the University of Malta explains: "At certain frequencies you have standing waves that emphasize each and other waves that de-emphasize each other. The idea that it was used thousands of years ago to create a certain trance -- that's what fascinates me."Very nice Z, Thank You

Moksha,
....WHERE'S YOUR CURIOSITY HAL? ...
It's out on loan at the moment.
When it is returned I'll look deeper.
The bit I reserved for my own use is at the moment trying to find out why my old Toshiba tv won't tune any channels.

Quite so. And until either is identified it is just that.
Remember that everything has a natural resonance.
And that 110 Hz is only 10 Hz above the second harmonic of the UK power grid frequency of 50 Hz.
This 'hum' can be heard quite clearly. I imagine for you folks in the USA it will be 120 HZ. (2*60).
So it isn't really surprising that things make noises.

I was trawling through some YouTube 'magic Pyramid' type sites last night and one or two things stood out.
One was that the narrator kept claiming that 'we couldn't even do that today' for things that we can do.
One of the claims was concerning the boring of flat bottomed holes in rock. He was saying that it had been done with diamond cylindrical cutters. We do that every day.
And it raises the question 'Why did these 'ancient beings' do it in the first place.
Add to this the claims that the ABs used vibrations to cut and shape rock. How did they set up these vibrations ? How did they focus them ?
But probably the most important question is..
Where is ANY trace of the equipment they used ?
Why is there no trace of anything other than stonework ?

ZETAR,
At the moment I'm running the Toshiba tv through a Sharp VCR (Come on, you remember VCRs; admit it like a real man). I'm looking through all my old tapes and cataloging them before transcribing the better stuff to DVD. Also to a data base. Some time back a person unknown in the household removed all the identification labels. Not nice.
So I may be a while.
Isn't modern technology wonderful.

Moksha,
The stonework in the picture can be done by hand with hammer and chisel.
It will take a while, but there is nothing magical about it. We don't see much of it because it is time consuming and generally unnecessary.
But the stone work shown above indicated to me a lack of foresight and organization.
Why go to all that trouble to match odd shaped stones when you could, with a bit of thought, arranged the stones to avoid the problems.
You would still have been able to get the close fit, but in a far more logical arrangement.
There appears to have been no need for the complication.
Anyone who has done any scraping of cast iron surface plates will be aware that great precision is attainable with hardly any tools at all.

SOOO YOU'RE DISMISSING THE NEURO-BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF THESE FREQUENCIES?...WHILE FOCUSING ON THE CRAFTSMANSHIP... 110 Hz - Pure Frequency Associated with the Stomach and Ovaries
110 Hertz is the frequency which is associated with both the stomach and the ovaries. *(110)\biblio* www.unexplainable.com/frequencies/110hertz.phpIn a pilot study in 2008 by Dr. Ian Cook, this frequency showed a direct neurological effect that suppressed the left side of the pre-frontal cortex and activated or increased the right side. The results showed that the language and logic were shut down while mood, social behavior and empathy increased. *(110-2)\biblio* Dr. Ian Cook is an Associate Director of the UCLA Laboratory of Brain, Behavior and Pharmacology as well as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Bio behavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the Director of Unipolar Depression Research at the Semel Institute. *(110-3)\biblio* Recording Highlights: Improved Mood Improved Social Behavior Improved Empathy Usage And Suggestions: This is a perfect frequency for anyone who is shy in group settings because of it's ability to help improve social behavior. It's also a great 'pick me up' frequency as it can help improve your mood.SHALOM...Z

More like I am wondering about the logic of doing that section of wall in the manner they did.
I don't know if you have ever done any dry-stone walling.
You will also have noticed that all the joints have beveled edges. They are not flush with the surface.

Thanks for your input, HAL However, I think you are way off with your "speculation"
The marks look more like mold/casting marks.
Then we have much more evidence of some type of technology
I just think your wrong
HAL, but welcome your input.
There is a vast amount of ancient works, that are very impressive. below is marble from Taj Mahal
