Good question..We are at minimum...1 trillion in debt to China....there is an army of lawyers waiting..they'll think of a reason..seems to me we can give them a good shave and a haircut deducting some of our expenses from payments due...I saw what Paul Singer did to Argentinas ships when they stopped off at different ports..had them seized...they have property here..very expensive property...so an Iran touch may be in order..The WHO should be thrown in as a co dfendant covering up Chinas coverup..(I noted the sea market was immediately flattened in January..i think its a parking lot now or sumtin') China donated tens of thousands of testers of which 80 percent did not work..giving false negatives..no wonder that germ got out of hand..I'm sure Donald can work out another amazing art of the deal...but..its at times like this and these conditions that war becomes imminent..that's not a good thing..and nobody wants one...the only thing I'm curious right at the moment is the appointment of a former CEO of Blackrock who donated to Oxford 100M for a joint project here . He's a gung ho Globalist ..crazy about china..and was appointed by Trump to handle the finance part of the covid emergency package..that doesn't sit very well with me ..but I'm just a pleb passing thru.

Let us hope that it wasn't actually an attack, because if it was, the next phase could be to crash our InterNet, that would really knock our sticks in the dirt.

I am beginning to think there is more to C-Virus than a natural* animal to human mutation. If the pandemic was not an accident, not a product of USA involvement China seems a good suspect because that nation has been harmed far more by the trade war than admitted. Of course if China really did decide to let the virus dribble out from a test tube with a feigned oopsie' that is grounds for war even if it isn't grounds for nuclear war, nuclear war it will be. Maybe not, I hope not, I pray not.

Oh yeah ; #2 how could I about forgot about the ironman Ozzys taste for such things?
And lastly.....
You may be right if you are referring to the Chinese not caring. Hopefully for the world they have some sort of self preservation instinct. I say that because although I admire Trump and most of his actions in office the one thing that I do not really like about the big fella is his Ego and his hard to control temper. He may have more self control than we know when it comes to the REALLY big issues, and covertly uses his seemingly out of control public persona as a weapon, a tactical threat in the game of world control. Or...maybe he really can't control his temper and will push the big red button in a fit of anger? I think the former is more likely than the latter (fingers crossed, no fingers double crossed!).

Yuan Crashes After Trump Weighs Blocking Retirement Fund Access To Chinese Stocks

Having tumbled yesterday on the first set of headlines reporting on the Trump administration's plans to seek 'COVID reparations' amid accusations of Chinese 'meddling' in the US election (obviously not in favor of Trump), the Chinese yuan legged dramatically lower in this evening's illiquid session which sees most of Asia closed for May Day, after Bloomberg reports that Trump is exploring blocking a government retirement fund from investing in Chinese equities considered a national security risk.

wow..I used to look foward to see the silk road built ...but now in retrospect looking at its surveillance of people and control..which FB and Google were assisting in..then the Uygur and falon gong concentration camps..the organ harvesting, buying our politicians...controlling the WHO , not such a good idea. Those Chinese Loans to 138 developing countries..suddenly at risk.. www.zerohedge.com/markets/chinas-belt-and-road-partners-beg-beijing-bilateral-bailoutsChina's 'Belt And Road' Partners Beg Beijing For Bilateral Bailouts Profile picture for user Tyler Durden by Tyler Durden Fri, 05/01/2020 - 01:10 China's cash-strapped partners in their "Belt and Road" (BRI) global development project have been begging Beijing for debt relief amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Financial Times. And according to Chinese policy advisers, the Xi regime is considering several options - including suspending interest payments on loans from the country's financial institutions. That said, outright debt forgiveness is unlikely. According to Washington-based consultancy RWR Advisory, Chinese financial institutions have lent an estimated $461bn for BRI projects since 2013 - making it the largest development initiative in the world. "We understand a lot of countries are looking to renegotiate loan terms," said one researcher at China Development Bank, which spearheads hundreds of billions of dollars in BRI projects globally along with the Export-Import Bank of China. "But it takes time to strike a new deal and we cannot even travel abroad right now. The BRI loans are not foreign aid. We need to at least recoup principal and a moderate interest," said the researcher on condition of anonymity. "It is OK for 20 per cent of our portfolio projects to have problems," they added, "But we can’t tolerate half of them going under. We might consider extending loans and giving interest relief. But in general our loans are issued according to market principles." The BRI, which was launched in 2013 as the signature foreign policy initiative of President Xi Jinping, is aimed at building infrastructure and boosting China’s influence around the world. Most of the 138 countries that have officially signed up to the BRI are developing nations, many with the weakest credit ratings in the world. -Financial Times
