My guess is that the gravely damaging information the Navy is hiding from the public is that the U.S. has no defense against UFOs and now USOs.
Just like from the movie The War of the Worlds, “ our weapons are toys against them”.
We are vulnerable!

We are learning how to defend, for example the Italian Navy seem to be working it out better than the US. If you take the spin that the US doesn’t understand what they are looking at.

Old warhorses always respond with fear when they realize their measly peashooters will not help them attack whatever it is they fear. That would be everybody and everything they do not get along with or understand. But, like I said before, (new metaphor alert!) when you hire a hammer to do a job, everything starts to look like a nail to them. They have no perspective. Their ignorance does not do us any favors. The grave damage is only to their beliefs that they are our anointed protectors. Personally I would like to see a world without their ignorant posturing. Mostly what they protect is their inflated egos. Who will protect us from them and their deleterious motives?
As far as i am concerned, they can keep their false fears. I am not subscribing to them. And the thing they fear will continue to not be threat to any of us - well, except maybe to stupid hammers that only see those 'others' as nails.....
