Since ancient times, people have reported witnessing strange lights and mysterious objects traveling through the skies. Stories of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), alien encounters, and other mysteries have captured the popular imagination, and have even given rise to a whole pseudoscientific field of study known as Ufology. In the canon of UFO legends, there are some incidents that continue to fascinate people today.

Thanks for adding B J's great selection of believable unsolved cases, ZETAR! My fav, and to me personally one of the most compelling close encounters of the 3rd kind, is nr. 5: the Kelly-Hopkinsville case with the Gremlin-like alien visitors. Extremely difficult to debunk, perhaps because it really happened as the unfortunate Sutton family experienced and reported it.

ONE THAT IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED...AND DESERVES COUNTLESS ACCOLADES...B.J. BOOTH! WE BOTH APPRECIATE THE TENACITY OF B.J. AND THE CONVERSATION CONTINUES HERE...DUE TO HIS EFFORTS.
PER YOUR GREMLIN AFFINITY...DO YOU CONSIDER MANY ANCIENT ENCOUNTERS/OBSERVATIONS WERE SIMPLY STUMBLING OVER...SYTAX TO DESCRIBE SOMETHING BEYOND THEIR NORM?"Extremely difficult to debunk" AND THAT IS PURR...THE POINT! SHALOM...Z

The History Channel in the past wanted to dig at this Aurora, Tx cemetery, but that was not allowed
I am happy to read about these classic cases again that took place before an over abundance of CGI and drones took over.

SHALOM...ZHi ZETAR, indeed language may have failed experiencers in the past, attempting to describe strange visitors, their seemingly magical abilities and incomprehensible up to downright terrifying behaviors. To compensate for the weirdness I suspect encounters were transposed into the narrative of one's faith and worldview: alien visitors often became our Gods. That said, the Kelly-Hopkinsville aliens were reported (and drawn) by the witnessing family members as small floating, BULLET PROOF beings with Spielberg-Gremlin (as shown in your selected image) like ears/appendages. Weird as hell, but believable because of multiple witnesses, long duration of the alien 'attack' on a family home, and one observation of firearm use, the shot impacting one of the aliens, yet doing no discernible harm. Indicates the shooter at least had a good look at these guys. I take away from this awesome case that Mankind has been visited by all sorts. The extraordinary footage you show in post, if real, and imho it COULD BE REAL, may be an example of a somehow captured/injured extraterrestrial biological entity, popularly known as a Grey. Uh.. no external ears to speak of, by the way . If the roles were reversed (as during Alien Abduction) I can imagine the human client experiencing sheer terror, a state of fear psychosis once confronted by a fully capable Grey abductor team. In one of his books Whitley Strieber suggests ( without him actually believing this is what they were) the Greys reminded him of the Demons from the Christian tradition. Scary stuff. purr
