I think what Zetar is saying here..the key to all this Gentleman is...PATIENCE!....Whether warming or cooling..there will be less food sources..like the fisheries off the atlantic that UK and EU are butting heads over or the fisheries off the slowly poisoned pacific..that feeds asia and africa and India ..eventually circumstances will lead to one inevitable inescapable conclusion..

Nations must triple efforts to curb greenhouse-gas emissions Immediate, drastic action is needed to keep global warming under 2 °C, according to United Nations report.
Jeff Tollefson, 27 November, 2018
Governments of the world need to triple their current efforts to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions in order to prevent global warming of more than 2 °C by 2030, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) said in its annual “emissions gap” report.
Released on 27 November ― just a week before the latest UN climate summit in Katowice, Poland ― the UNEP report projects that current national policies would allow global greenhouse-gas emissions to rise by around 10% by 2030, compared with 2017 levels (see ‘Top emitters’):
But emissions would need to decrease by 25% over the same period to maintain a likely chance of limiting warming to 2 °C. Countries would need to reduce their emissions by 55% to restrict warming to below 1.5 °C.
If nations don’t increase their commitments to reducing greenhouse gases before 2030 — and follow through with emissions reductions — the 2 °C and 1.5 °C targets might move out of reach, the report states.

None of the above will stop the next round of hurricanes. HAL. The findings you and I (with the best of intentions) have been respectively questioning and helping clarify turn out, if I read EmbassyKat's and Swamprat's posts right, were published in error. 60% of a whole lot of nuttin! Hurricanes, OK, back to reality . No question temperature fluctuations up (and down) in sea water and our atmosphere have been measured for real. Also I accept as a given we are observing a trend of increased frequency/intensity of great storms, like the hurricanes reported passing islands and coastal areas, scouring off the infrastructure, often followed by inundating entire towns and leaving in their wake shocked, increasingly desperate survivors lacking medical care, shelter, food and clean water. Then there's the 'Weather Weirding', simply unpredictable localized 'out of place' and 'out of season' heat waves and droughts, extreme precipitations, micro coolings and tornados exploring their way into completely new alleys. The poorest countries inevitably are hit the worst, unable to help themselves. We could be witness today to massive changes in climate, to either 'warming' or 'cooling', more extreme weather, restive oceans and inundations of coastal lands. HAL/INT21, all the phenomena of Climate Change could be as real as they come. Yet what is contended is the degree of human influence on these great changes. To date I have not seen clear incontrovertible proof that we (our industry) constitute a significant CAUSE to said changes. So, I model it differently. I start out with ...WHAT ELSE.... a sprinkling of Flying Saucers and ET Visitors in the mix (isn't this the right site for that?). My feverish imagination sees the US since at least the 1940s glean information from alien Contact, recovering not just crash debris at Roswell NM, but actually establishing communication with some of these strange Others. Some of this went into the F-117 Stealth Bombers and into the sleek Japanese notebook I work on this moment. HOWEVER some of the alien info imo pertained to the future of planet Earth. 2nd half of the 20th century the US and subsequently selected allies learnt from the Aliens of a major Climate Disaster in the century to come. The first danger this presented was that as the world public would become aware of global climate taking a turn for the worse, people would stampede for the exits, leaving the Economy and Government in shambles. (The second danger would be to sheer human survival, culturally and even as a species! Surviving whatever was coming naturally would be the Alien Secret Keepers core objective.) Here it is. To my mind the Anthropogenic Global Warming theory (re-baptized decades later as Climate Change) was conceived, developed and promoted as true science to address the first danger, folks panicking, nosediving markets and taking out their intense disappointment on the Government and their overly discrete (on ET secrets that is!) President. See if things warm up, or cool down, if weather becomes too powerful or too weird, there's a ready made EXPLANATION. CO2, human industry spewing too much of it, and the beauty of it all is: if we turned on the heat.. WE CAN TURN IT DOWN AGAIN (by going 'Green'). Now there's a "comfortable truth". Reminds me of a toy often gifted to the children in our family mid 20th century. It was a dashboard with a steering wheel that had some kind of clips or suction cups on the back, so if these kids got a ride in a car (rarely in the Netherlands were most travel was by bike, bus or train) they leaned/attached the dashboard to the seat in front and then 'helped' drive the car literally from the backseat. I remember really wanting one, but getting books on among other things UFOlogy instead, perhaps because I was a prolific reader from age 6 onwards! These lucky youngsters had a great time driving I'm sure, pressing little plastic knobs, turning the wheel this way and that, imagining they were in control of the vehicle taking them to school or home. Believing in manmade Climate Change and going Green to save the planet equals in my model that long ago toy dashboard keeping the children nicely occupied and out of the driver's hair.

When Men insist they can change the climate..don't be surprised when Something the air begin begins to smells strange...
Caveat peer reviewed meens what your buddys say
A fleet of aircraft injecting sulfates into the lower stratosphere could help protect the world from climate change. Well, that is according to a peer-reviewed paper published Nov. 23 in the journal Environmental Research Letters by researchers from Harvard and Yale universities.
[block]
It sounds like rhetoric from the tinfoil-hat chemtrail conspiracy community. Large commercial airliners spraying sulfate microparticles into the stratosphere, anywhere from 8 to 30 miles high. The purpose is to help shield the Earth from sunlight to maintain lower temperatures.
The report is one of the most in-depth and modern study yet of "stratospheric aerosol injection" (also known as "solar dimming" or "solar engineering" and or in the conspiracy community - "chemtrails"). Researchers examined how effective and expensive a solar geoengineering project would be beginning in the early 2030s. The goal of the program would be to halve the temperature increase caused by heat-trapping greenhouse gases, sort of like the global cooling effects of volcanic eruptions.

Gernot Wagner, a research associate at Harvard’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, is the lead author of the paper. He said their study shows this type of geoengineering "would be technically possible strictly from an engineering perspective. It would also be remarkably inexpensive, at an average of around $2 to $2.5 billion per year over the first 15 years."
The study's co-author of the paper and lecturer at Yale, Wake Smith, explained that an entirely new aircraft needs to be designed for the chemtrail program. "No existing aircraft has the combination of altitude and payload capabilities required."
Researchers investigated what it would cost to develop an aircraft they call he SAI Lofter (SAIL). The report indicates the fuselage would have a stubby design and the wing area, as well as the thrust, would need to be twice as large. The estimated cost of the plane, a whopping $2 billion and $350 million to modify existing engines.

The American Meteorological Society (AMS) expressed great concern about the project, which said, "reflecting sunlight would likely reduce Earth's average temperature but could also change global circulation patterns with potentially serious consequences such as changing storm tracks and precipitation patterns."

Sir David Attenborough Predicts the ‘Collapse of Civilization’ at UN Climate Summit By Brandon Specktor, Senior Writer | December 3, 2018
You're probably used to hearing Sir David Attenborough's sonorous, British voice describe the miracles of pufferfish courtship and blooming stink flowers in nature documentaries like "Planet Earth" and "Blue Planet." But today (Dec. 3), the naturalist and filmmaker delivered a far more somber monologue at the United Nations Climate Summit in Katowice, Poland.
"Right now, we're facing a man-made disaster of global scale," Attenborough told delegates from almost 200 nations. "Our greatest threat in thousands of years: climate change. If we don't take action, the collapse of our civilizations and the extinction of much of the natural world is on the horizon."
Attenborough was chosen to speak at the summit as part of the U.N.'s new "people's seat" initiative, which encouraged citizens of the world to share their personal messages and videos explaining how climate change has already affected their lives. Several of these messages were shared as part of Attenborough's speech today; they included footage of people standing in front of the ashen remains of their homes, which had been incinerated by wildfires.
"The world's people have spoken," Attenborough said. "Their message is clear. Time is running out. They want you, the decision-makers, to act now."
This meeting of the U.N. was convened so that leaders of the world could negotiate ways to turn their pledges made at the 2015 Paris climate accord into a reality. Per the Paris accord, 184 countries agreed to implement emissions-reduction policies to help limit global warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above preindustrial levels over the next century. Most of the world's nations are not on track to meet this goal; in fact, a global temperature rise of 4 degrees C (7.2 degrees F) seems far more likely right now.
According to a recent U.N. climate report, even limiting warming to 1.5 degrees C (2.7 degrees F) this century could result in serious consequences for the planet's cities and ecosystems. Those effects include increased flooding and severe weather around the world, the destruction of up to 90 percent of the ocean's coral reefs, mass animal extinctions, and food shortages brought on by regular droughts. A recent U.S. climate assessment, released quietly over Thanksgiving weekend by President Donald Trump's White House, affirmed these findings and the impending danger of climate change.
"Leaders of the world, you must lead," Attenborough concluded. "The continuation of our civilizations and the natural world upon which we depend is in your hands."

Miserable Random Citizens Of The Earth..You Are Already Dead! The planet is actually recovering as it always has over the course of several mass extinctions..stop blaming yourselves..you add or take nothing..you never have you insufferable pompous egotistical self deluded organisms ..except as compost and a bad one at that. How can you remain in denial of that even after you are dead..is a mystery even mother nature is at loss to explain. Move on please..enjoy Heaven..Nirvana..Chaos..Earth Does Not Care..Nor need you any longer.
You decreed it in your last round of predictions. That's all you need to know..
Now There..RIP ..it's over..fret no more..There is nothing special about you
