Still, one can’t help but to wonder; did this creature come to warn us about the consequences of environmental abuse so we could make the changes necessary to reverse its effects, or was it issuing a thinly veiled threat… a final decree telling the human race, in no uncertain terms, to fix our world — or else.So it picked a group of school children in one of the most underdeveloped parts of the most under developed continent in the world to pass this wisdom to ?
Tell me, are Aliens naturally thick ?
HAL.
Bit of an older thread, but still fascinating because of the extraordinary nature of its subject: report of a mass witness CE3. We got to address it because mass sightings/experiences are not as readily explained away as (mass) hallucinations/psychotic breaks. Your good self HAL, as well as Wu ask skeptical questions, and I have been asking the same thing. Why warn a bunch of kids to ward off imminent(?) planetary ecological disaster? You're asking rhetorically as well as Ad Ridiculum. It does not seem to make a lot of sense (why not contact the US government, sit down with the sitting president so to speak)!
I agree, but we need not leave it at that. One possible model (we need multiple models because WE DO NOT KNOW FERSURE WHAT REALLY TRANSPIRED) is that the school event actually happened, however bizarre and incongruous, in that these were a faction of extraterrestrials that is new to the UFO mix, never set foot on Earth before, never met us, who made a survey of our atmosphere, found it full of swirling sickening deadly crap, endangering human species' survival in the long term and decided to give us a heads up. Themselves kinda little ladies & fellers, in whose home world the bigger 'human adult' size subspecies are mere drones serving the smaller childsize 'elite' they selected a building where the earthly 'elite' seemed to congregate. A school. So they in their mind gave ample warning to Earth government. Oops, mistake .
But still a nice try, and we might consider giving heed (or not).
